What We'll Do
Main Electrical System Inspection:
- Verify proper quantity, size, type of wire, connection, and termination to each circuit breaker and fuse.
- Test for proper loading to each breaker and fuse.
- Perform the diagnostics on any sub panels that may exist.
- Verify proper main grounding of electrical system.
- Tighten all electrical connections.
- Ensure correct supply voltage.
Whole House Inspection:
- Perform visual inspection of overhead connections.
- Suggest battery replacements in smoke detectors and/or install new smoke detectors.
- Inspect and test GFCI outlets.
- Suggest GFCI outlet installations where code requires them.
- Perform diagnostics on wall outlets to test for proper grounding and other conditions.
- Test wall switches.
- Verify all major appliances (air conditioner, furnace, oven, refrigerators) have their own dedicated circuits.
Kitchen and Bathrooms:
- Inspect and test GFCI outlets.
- Inspect lighting for safe and reliable operation.
Appliances and Fixtures:
- Heating and air conditioning system disconnects visual inspection.
- Suggest ceiling fan inspections, tightening, and balancing.
- Complete walkthrough to check connections on all appliances including hot tubs, pool equipment, pumps, dishwasher, garbage disposal, compactor, water heater, baseboard heaters, and more.
Lighting Systems
- Verify that light fixtures are matched with proper bulbs.
- Verify that fluorescent fixtures contain proper bulbs and ballasts.
